About WebServices

WebServices makes data accessible in real-time to other applications in machine-readable format. This enables more efficient sharing of data and eliminates the problem of having inconsistencies that develop by manually importing and exporting data from one application to the next. WebServices can be used for a multitude of purposes from sharing standards to having many applications interacting with each other by sharing real time data. WebServices are the foundation of the web and fuel solutions such as getting access to real time flight data and weather data. The end result is that applications can be created more efficiently and in a modular way.
